I like your shirt...er...dress.

The thing I love the most about the blogosphere is the endless amounts of inspiration I get for all areas of my life. From fashion to food, and travel to D.I.Y - it's never ending.
While I don't remember where I saw this tip, I do know that it stuck with me and made me rethink my closet. So I went into my dress closet (yes, you read that correctly), picked out a few favorites, and immediately went to work into rethinking how I wear them.
I give to you.... a dress that magically turns into a shirt!

Ladies, I think I just doubled my wardrobe!
Having worn two of the three of these outfits, let me give you a few tips in case you're interested in trying this...

1. Wear a slip if you can; it helps smooth everything out & decreases seeing the pattern that may be on the dress
2. Use dresses that are slimmer on the bottom - reduces the chance for bulk
3. I found wearing a belt helped bring the ensemble together & gave it the right shape.

Have you tried this before? Any tips for a newbie at this like me?
xoxo

I did this with a jersey dress and it worked shockingly well. Love the combos you came up with!
