Time to chat about one of my favorite subjects....food.
With the start of the new year, I need a fresh take on what I eat. I love to snack. And if my four favorite snacks below don't scream 'savory, salt lover', I don't know what does.
{quaker rice cakes/pistachios/cheese & crackers/ Sunchips & guac}
As much as I love the four above, I need to liven up my palatte a bit. So here's what you come in.
Favorite savory snacks dear friends? (without being too terrible for you of course)

i could live off of crackers but am trying to cut back... i've been substituting an apple with cheese and it is very tasty!
My favorite morning snacks are raisins and almonds (weird combo I know) and banana with natural peanut butter. I get the large bag of Whole Almonds at Sam's (with no salt).
My favorite snack is fresh red cherries and smoked gouda cheese. I also eat clementines for snacks, and really any fruit I like. Although I do love pistachios :)
Pop chips are amazing!!!
We've been into clementines lately! Of course in between cookies and chips and cheese....
I'm a salty and sweet girl. I love pop chips and gold fish crackers. I'm trying to snack on fruit and yogurt, but it's just not as fun.

i mostly snack on peanuts and almonds, boring i know! or trail mix.
I totally have a salty tooth as well! For a little bit of a healthier snack I started doing edemame! I sprinkle a little big of salt on them so I still get the salty taste I love, but in reality it's only a tiny bit of salt.
I'm with Chassity. Clementines have been my 'go to' as of late.
Blue Diamond's Wasabi & Soy Sauce almonds are the best thing in the world. They are sooooooo addictive!
Have you tried the salt and pepper pistachios? they are sort of amazing. I love me some chips and salsa, clementines, apples - I am a total snacker... oh, and I love to eat me a handful or two of honey nut cherrios or mini wheat cereal too. I could go on and on...
I probably don't count because normally I eat like crap (chips and dip, ice cream, doritos, cheetos... you get the point).
Thanks to the Tiny Human, my latest snacks are: raspberries or blackberries with french vanilla yogurt, granola bars, fresh veggies and spinach dip, pretzles with dipping sauce (low fat something or other), and graham crackers.
apples & peanut butter, tuna salad & pop chips, bananas, mojo mountain mix bars, and and and HUMMUS!!!
Ohh they all look delicious:) My very unhealthy snack-love is chips and healthy dried fruits:) Happy Thursday, sunshine.

Food is one of my favorite topics too!!! I am a giant fan of hummus also with carrots, celery, red peppers, tortillas and RICE CRACKERS!
