displaying christmas cards.

Every year I always struggle with how and where to display the Christmas cards we recieve in the mail. I usually display them on the hutch in my kitchen but they end up looking messy and aren't how I want them to be displayed. I starting surfing Google and the blogosphere for some inspiration and found a good bit!

I found this 'S' at Home Goods last month and thought it would be the perfect
way to display Christmas cards this year. So far I'm loving it!

How do you display the Christmas cards you recieve?? Please share!
Happy Monday!
xoxo

i'm pretty lame when it comes to card displays. i generally stand them up on my dining room buffet/bar.

this year i'd like to hang them on the window like the one pictured above. but then i have yet to receive a holiday card so i've got time to get creative.

I like the idea of hanging cards in a window too... I
just ordered our Christmas cards yesterday, our 1st as a married couple! :)

Love the mantle idea! Mine are just in a big bowl and I've been looking for a fun way to display them... think I'll try the mantle this year.

I really like your way of displaying the cards! I have an M just like that, so as we start getting cards I'll have to think about displaying them that way. Do you get more cards once you send cards? I got engaged this year but my mom says it's still a year too early to send cards...

Speaking of.... just got yours and I love it :)

If I can find it... I have a giant tag board (like the ones we used to have in our rooms in junior high). A friend of mine painted it and put a giant gingerbread man on it. It's adorable. I set it in the corner and tack all my cards onto it. Fun!

I just have mine sitting on the mantel, but I think I am going to copy picture #1 and spring them like that. Very cute!

I took a page out of my mother's book, and I tape them along the molding between our living room and kitchen. We usually get enough to go all the way around and then some, so it's a nice way to decorate the threshold.
