a labor day weekend sans pictures

Don't you love a Tuesday that feels like a Monday? I sure do. Thanks Labor Day!
Speaking of Labor Day, we had a great holiday weekend filled with friends, beach, good food, live music, and relaxation. With all we did, you'd think I would have lots of pictures. I do not. My camera battery was dead and I was too lazy to charge it. I did steal this photo from my friends Facebook page for your enjoyment.
{dinner Friday night at Osteria la Bottiglia, the newest, most authentic Italian in town}

Yesterday I took my mom to see The Help and we both adored it. Probably the closest movie adaptation to the book that I've seen. Do yourself a favor, whether you've read the book or not, and go see it!

And how did no one tell me Nelsan Ellis is in The Help?!

Don't recognize him? Maybe this will help...

Lafayette, only the best character on True Blood!

Hope everyone enjoyed their (hopefully) long weekend and are ready to start their (hopefully) short week!
xoxo

Love Osterio, we've been a couple of times. Love the ambience. But, if you haven't had the spaghetti bolognese at La Pizzeria in Mt P you MUST. It's fab. And of course their pizza is great too.
And I read The Help and saw the movie, agree- so fabulous!
