our wedding location

Alright friends... back to the wedding. I wanted to share some photos from our location because I truly believe it set the tone for our wedding. We wanted something that was simple, beautiful, and true to Charleston... the city that we love so much. The Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation was our perfect place.

{the entrance to the Cotton Dock}

{the mantle which my mom and I created the concept for and turned out perfectly!}

{the perfect lounge area}

{our cupcake table!}

{The Mighty Kicks - one of the best decisions we made!}

{our photo clothes line in the back of the Cotton Dock to display four years of memories together}

{the dock... post ceremony and pre party!}

Looking at these pictures makes me so happy. I hope I can always close my eyes and transport back to that night.
One final wedding post.... the reception!
xoxo

So so lovely and acutally reminds me so much of my wedding- we were also married in a barn and did the lounge areaa/hanging lights etc...I think it's the perfect kind of spot for a wedding- so relaxed and still chic. Yours was truly gorgeous!!

Your location looks perfectly charming! I really like how rustic it is. It reminds me a lot of where one of my friends got married at a historical residence in Bristol, RI. It was gorgeous, but it was also mid-July in a barn (with no fans!), so it was HOT.
