yay or nay: ankle length skirts.

Next up on 'Yay or Nay' - ankle length skirts. These have been around for a long time but have recently made an even larger splash in fashion. Personally I love them. No matter if you're short or tall - they just seem to work.
{in my book.... rachel can do no wrong}

{miranda - pregnant & lovely in her long skirt. i'm sold.}

{love the skirt & lip color combo. not loving the structure (or lack thereof) in the skirt}

{a long jean skirt? a little too 'little house on the prairie' for me}

{love pairing a white tshirt with a dressy black skirt}

Can't wait to hear your thoughts! Keep it short or the longer the better?
xoxo

I think they're gorgeous too :)

i like this look, but i'd be very particular about which one i wore and how i wore it! i loooove the look on ashley olsen and on miranda. both of these looks are feminine, flattering, and subtle, but with a big impact. love these two looks!

I love the look! It makes me want to put on a skirt right now, if it wasn't 30 degrees out :)

I love Rachel Bilson - she can do no wrong. So I'm loving the look in the pictures you shared, but overall, I'm iffy on the trend.

if you can pull it off, i say yay!

as for me, that's a big fat nay. i'm too short and stubby to do it any justice.

I'm a yay and a nay depending on the skirt. Some of them just transport me back to junior high, and that's a nay. Others, like the first one, I'm totally a yay on. And of course formal ankle-length skirts/dresses are always a yay.

Yay! Although, I think they can be tricky to pull off!

i like them, but they seem to work best on slim and gorgeous chicks (like everything, dang it). lol

They look so good on these girls in the photos, but my short legs don't hold up in them. They make me look like a stump :( But I do love the look of them!

Long skirts give me the heebie jeebies! I went to a private Christian school for 12 years and we had to wear long skirts every day! They were awful. To this day, I can't force myself to wear one!

i'm not a huge fan, i like the maxi dresses better. these ladies can certainly pull it off though!

I love the long skirt...not the jean one though...eeww. I have a really long black skirt like MK or Ashley (can't tell who that is) but I never wore it. She styled it up nicely.

Umm...

YAY

I just saw this lovely post and had to comment- I literally just had a post on long shirts and my love for that comfortable bohemian lady look. I absolutely adore! Totally agree!
