a 'cheer me up' kind of date night.

Friday I had a disaster of a wedding hair trial. I went in thinking I wanted some sort of 'up do' and when my amazing hairstylist delivered.... I had a mini meltdown and panic attack. What I thought I wanted all along turned out not to be the case. Even though Emily had done a lovely job... I hated what I saw in the mirror and didn't feel like 'me.' She tried two other styles, to no avail. So she took it down and what was left were some beautiful curls that surprisingly had me feeling the most like 'me' since I had got there.

So Guy and I had a lovely little date night inspite of it all. I may not know what I'm going to do on my wedding day but I do know what I'm not doing. That's something right?!
And while we were trying to set up the timer to get the above picture.... the below picture snapped and I thought I would post. I was proud of my outfit for the night. : )

Hope you had a relaxing weekend!
xoxo

You should be proud of that outfit!! Love it! You always dress like you're out of a magazine :) So jealous!

You will figure out your hair... and yes, knowing what you DONT want is sometimes half the battle. No matter what, you will be beautiful, I know it. And you could have dreadlocks with blue streaks and feathers coming out of your hair (but I wouldn't suggest this) and I know that Guy would still have to catch his breath when he saw you walking down that aisle, knowing you were all his.

For what it's worth, I always pictued you with your hair down on your wedding day... Seems very "you."

Happy Monday!

Why not have your hair the way it is in the picture, just down with some soft curls? You want to feel like yourself on your wedding day and you look really pretty with those curls.

bah! i usually have ZERO trouble defining what i don't like, and a bit more trouble defining what i DO like. sounds like you are in the same boat!

love the hair AND the outfit. and up do's aren't for everyone. they only time i like having one is when i am slobbing it at home on the weekends, and/or washing my face or putting on makeup. i just think an up do is too much FACE for me. lol

Girl, you're gorgeous. And I so so love that outfit.

If I can give my advice... I put my hair up in a beautiful chignon for my wedding. It was lovely, BUT it didn't look like me. I see the pictures and it sorta feels like a different person. Go with what feels right :)
