a perfect friday night in charleston.

At the last minute on Friday, Guy and I decided to go to Eye Level Art for a night of acoustic music.
Being at Eye Level Art in of itself is a fun evening as it's an old warehouse turned contemporary art gallery in downtown Charleston. Add acoustic music to that scene and we're in heaven.

Remember Collective Soul? Anyone else rock out to them in the 90's like I did? Anyways, that's Ed Roland on the right and he sounds the exact same. I felt like I was in middle school all over again!

Patrick Davis... a little bit country, a whole lot of southern

Caleb Slade - brother of Isaac Slade of 'The Fray' but don't hold that aganist him. After seeing him, I'm officially a f-a-n. Check out his music here. He writes intelligent, haunting and truly beautiful music. I can't imagine someone not liking him. I think he's on the verge of blowing up.

It's nights like these that I'm so thankful to be in Charleston. Guy and I have made a resolution to really make an effort and have more nights out like this.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Anyone else have beautiful weather like we did? We were in the 60's and 70's all weekend!!
xoxo

Aw man what an awesome night. I wish I would have known!! And yeah, Josh and I have the best dates when we go off our beaten path by ourselves. So much fun to hang out in a fresh environment with new people.
