strength in numbers.

Like I mentioned Saturday, Guy and I spent the majority of the weekend in the hospital with a very sick family member. It's the first time either of us have ever had to deal with anything of the sort and nothing prepares you for it. Everyone deals with it differently; some pray, some numb their feelings, some deny, and others reach out for any and all comfort they can find. Guy and I handle things very differently but we've been here for one another throughout it all and it only reenforces why we're together.

What's been truly amazing is how many family, friends, and acquaintances have emailed, called, and texted to let us know they're thinking of us. Guy and I may not be the most religious people in the World but we appreciate every thought, prayer, and kindness they've sent our way.

To each and every one of you (and you know who you are) - thank you. We love you and couldn't get through these next couple of weeks without you.
And for everyone else - don't take your loved ones for granted. Hug and kiss them at every opportunity.

xoxo

Studies have been done that prove that people who were prayed for not only survive insurmountable odds but recover quicker and with fewer complications. The prayer chain for Steve and the family reaches far and wide. May you feel His comfort.
