Crazy 8's

My IRL friend and fellow blogger Kristen tagged me in an eight question post and I'm happy to oblige.
1. Do you believe in soul mates?
I believe I've answered this before on my blog but those that are new to my area of the blogosphere... no, I don't think so. Something about soul mates doesn't feel right. It makes the assumption that no matter what, you would have found the right person. No matter what you do or don't do matters... they find you, you find them. I don't think that's right. I think relationships take time, effort, sacrifice, and true compassion for the other person.
2. What's one thing on your bucket list you have to cross off before you die?
Tough one! There are so many things. I'd like Guy and I to live abroad at some point. That's pretty important. I'd also like to have children... hoping to cross that off in the next 5 years. : )
3. What's your favorite color and why?
{this has nothing to do with the question; i just love her}
Green.  No real reason why, just always loved the color.
4. Cake or Pie?
Neither. Cupcakes! Any and all cupcakes!
5. Do you remember your first kiss?
Yes! I have two. The first is my actual first kiss. 6th grade, after basketball practice, I kissed Ben West. I think it was on a dare? My real first kiss was with my high school boyfriend, during his brother's birthday party. We snuck away into his bedroom and had our first kiss. I remember it vividly to this day. I hope everyone remembers their first kiss.
6. Think of an old flame, if you ran into them - what would you say?
Depends on the old flame. : ) For one, I would hug him immediately. For another, I would ask if he's grown up. And for the last, I would tell him I hope he's happy & fulfilled.
7. When's the last time you cried & why?
I cry on a dime so probably recently. I cry at commercials, things friends tell me, the news, etc. I'm a crier.
8. If you got one 'do over' to fix just one thing in your past, what would you change?
Tough one again. Not sure I would do anything over. I think life is like those 'choose your own adventure' books and if you do one thing over, it changes your whole course in life. I think I would have answered this question differently a few years ago but now I'm ready to look ahead and not behind.

That was fun! Everyone and anyone is welcome to play along! Let me know if you do.
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be able to tell you I have my wedding dress tomorrow! Eeeee!!!
xoxo

Awesome awesome answers... I actually didn't know your favorite color was green. I thought it was brown- so I learned something new :)

And I think I was at that birthday party where you snuck off :) And Ben West!?!?? I had no idea you kissed him in 6th grade... just saw his mom and dad before I came back to Milwaukee. He is currently buying his mom's business... random news.

And I love your "choose your own adventure" analogy. It is so true... everything we've done, right or wrong, has gotten us here. And I'm pretty darn happy with right here :)

so fun to read - I love it! And seriously number 1 is exactly how I feel - I wish I could've put it into words like that.

Great post! I love your answers. I am so glad when I find out people don't believe in soul mates. And I love the no regrets thing. I have done some really, really stupid things in my past, but had I not done them, I would not be where I am today, with a husband I love and kids I adore, and I just can't imagine a life without the 3 of them. Glad you shared more of you!

I love your answer to number 1, thats how I sort of feel. I believe in soulmates but I dont think that they are someone you would have to marry or be with. My best friend is my ex-boyfriend & he is my soulmate. We are horrible together in a relationship but he is someone that will always be in my life & knows everything about me.We just know & feel that we are connected at the soul.

Now someone I marry, I might consider them to be the love of my life, my great love or something like that.

Great blog btw!
