hi, i'm morgan

...and I'm a carb-a-holic.
That's right... my daily consumption of food is based on carbohydrates. I fully know these have little to no nutrional value and yet I can't step away from the bastards... I mean breads. And just between you and me.... it's not looking pretty on my waist line. :sigh:
Let's take yesterday as an example:
Exhibit A
An english muffin for breakfast. And this was me being good... I really wanted a bagel with cream cheese.
Exhibit B
I thought about the bagel all morning so I made a sandwich using a bagel. I tricked myself into thinking it was just the vehicle to get me my protein.
note: my sandwich had no where near the vegetables you see above.
Exhibit C
Not a carb but I had to make myself feel better by showing you the one healthy thing I ate all day.
Exhibit D

I ran errands after work and had too much caffeine so I had to get one of those soft pretzels from the mall vendor. Shameful, I know. (but oh so good....)
Exhibit E
Um, yeah. Nachos. Guy went out for the night so we weren't eating at home and I didn't feel like cooking for one. Welcome to Moe's.

Yup, so there you have it. I'm addicted to carbohydrates. I'm going to be the only bride that GAINS weight before her wedding. Someone please help me!!!

South Beach diet - best way to get rid of your carb cravings!

First of all... even if you DID put on a few pounds before your wedding, you would still be the most beautiful bride there ever was. So eat what makes you happy... life is just too short to be on a new diet every other day.

And I love carbs too... yum!!! Everything you ate yesterday sounds like my daily intake too ;)

My daily intake mostly consists of carbs I love them too much to even think about giving them up! I really do need to add more variety into my diet though :)

You should eat what makes you happy, as long as you're happy what does it matter :)

I am a little on the obsessed side with bread. It is my comfort food and I could eat it all day everyday!

I know exactly where you are coming from! I just sometimes can't say no to carbs. I just ate some Dunkin Donuts munchkins. :)

Eh, make the english muffin whole wheat - buy double fiber or double protien bread - whole wheat pasta and call it a day. ;)

Happy Wednesday Love!

are you reading my mind?!! haha I was JUST thinking about an hour ago how addicted I am to carbs! I had a bagel for breakfast and grilled cheese for lunch, and then a piece of toast for a snack. And right when I clicked on your blog I saw the english muffin and thought "wow what I wouldn't do for one of those right now!" siigh what are we going to do? We need a "Say No to Carbs" Support Team!

carbs are so delicious!

i used to be pretty rabid about the sweets, so i cut back. and then i started going for the chips.

why does the bad stuff have to taste SO DAMN GOOD?!

and of course the mere mention of carbs makes me want some. argh!

I'm a carboholic as well in the form of homemade bread. I will make a loaf and the boys and I will consume within the hour of it coming out of the machine, even if we're about to eat dinner. No control. I don't even pretend anymore.

ooo... i'm a bride on a diet and you are making my mouth water with all those delicious breads!! :) i graduated grad school, moved to a new city, have been planning a wedding, and looking for a job all over the past month which made me so stressed i barely ate and lost a bunch of weight. not the best way to go at all. but before the past month i was exercising extra if i ate certain foods and calorie counting, which both seemed to be working.
