good news & bad news

the good news:
I only have 36 hours of travel this week unlike most weeks
the bad news:
my flight was already delayed when I got to the airport yesterday
the good news:
They said it would only be delayed one hour
the bad news:
multiply that by 4 and that will tell you the actual delay
the good news:
we boarded the plane and thought we'd be to D.C. by dinnertime
the bads news:
we sat on the tarmac on the plane for an additional two hours
the good news:
they gave us beverages while we were waiting
the bad news:
they didn't have any alcohol on board
the good news:
we were finally cleared to take off!
the bad news:
our normally one hour 'wheels up to wheels down' was double because of the number of airplanes in the air

Yeah.... that was my day yesterday. Luckily I have awesome co-workers and they had mexican waiting at the front desk for me when I got to the hotel. Kind of makes it all worth while when you like the people you work with.
Here's to smoother skies tonight! Enjoy your Wednesday!

Oh gracious! That is a tough day - especially w/o a good drink. I totally agree that working with people you like makes all the difference!
