Gladiator sandals... a trend from 2009 that's sticking around for 2010.
What do you think? Yay or Nay?
Personally, I'm not a fan. I can't even explain why I don't like them... I just don't like them.

{If I was forced to wear gladiator sandals at gunpoint... I might choose these}
{and the ultimate gladiator sandal. props for pulling them off but still hate them}

oh my goodness i am a huge fan!!! i LOVE them!!! i can't explain why either but i just absolutely think they are so fun! except i would never wear or even consider those last ones on riahanna...heinous!
not a huge fan. I think they look alright on some people but I dont think I am one of them. I would like the pair gwenyth has on though.

oh hell nayyyy! they're way to russel crowe in gladiator for me. plus i have stubby legs which look even stubbier when i attempt to wear those things. on other people, they're okay. but just okay.
I'm over them. Like you said, they were cool in 2009, now it's just a bit overdone.
I think they break up the leg and without the heel it just adds it all up to not being very flattering.
If I have to have a strap, it better at least be a four inch heel to balance out the dimininshing effects.

I think they look ok on some people, but I am way to short and these kind of sandals make me look shorter.
I love them on the people that can pull them off. Rhianna. Yuck. Those just look HORRIBLE!

IF i were to wear them, they'd have to be high heeled like g.paltrow's. i'm to short for them to look right. i also KIND OF like kate moss' - but probs because they're less gladiator-y. the shorter (on me), the better. my mom is 5'9 and has some hot gladiator heels. they're age appropriate and not "too much."
I'm not a fan of them either, Morgan. They're just too much. However, I might look at a gladiator "inspired" sandal that is a little simpler.
I'm not a fan. I think only people with long lean legs can pull them off. Otherwise you just look stubby...
I like certain styles but not really the ones that go up the leg, I just like the strappy sandal look. And Rhianna looks rediculous.
Cannot explain why, but i love them too. I have TWO pair. one bronzy and the other light tanish.
NAY. Except Ms Moss. She always looks fab. I will take her grey skinnies too!
I think I'm in the middle. Some folks look awesome in them, some look ridiculous. I steer clear of them cause they make short legs look shorter and they don't even seem that comfy (I mean I'm all for beauty over comfort, but these aren't nearly beautiful enough).

I have one pair I love... some I think are awful. But I think the right pair is fun. I don't wear mine often but they're fun with certain outfits.
I am not a HUGE fan of them but I think they can be cute with some outfits.
