top 25 before march 7th

Guy & I have tasked ourselves with a goal - we are going to watch the top 25 Oscar contender movies (so says Entertainment Magazine) by Oscar night (March 7th). We've seen the movies in red; 9 down, 16 to go!

Up in the Air
The Hurt Locker
Inglorious Basterds
An Education
A Serious Man
The Messenger
Julie & Julia
A Single Man
Crazy Heart
The Blind Side
The Last Station
Star Trek
District 9
Fantastic Mr. Fox
The Lovely Bones
(500) Days of Summer
It's Complicated
The Young Victoria
Bright Star
The Informant!

Can you tell which movie we saw here? :)

Have you seen any of the ones that I haven't and absolutely loved it? Which should be at the top of my list?

I can't wait to see Fantastic Mr. Fox (love children's stories :-)) My in-laws LOVED it. 500 Days of Summer is on our Netflix queue, hope it's good! Good luck with such a fun goal! :-D

Unfortunately I've only seen a couple from the list {both ones you've seen}. I miss movie-going, but spending $12 per person on a movie makes me want to weep in a corner. I can't wait to see Fantastic Mr. Fox though!

oh well, i thought i'd give it a try. appleton is a great place, just not for us. we're actually moving back to minneapolis this spring. we miss friends and "the action."
