need your help ladies!

Calling all wino's!!!!!!!!!!!

No, not that kind of Wino. Nobody can help that trainwreck of a human.

I need your help with this kind of wine.
Guy and I are in a wine rut. We like to buy $8-$12 bottle of wines for our every day needs. We buy the same wine because we know and like it.
But we don't discriminate! Good wine is good wine.
And we like both red and white!
So I come to you, dear friends, for help. What is your favorite, reasonably priced wine???

Castello del Poggio, Moscato Provincia di Pavia (my all-time favorite... I have about 20 bottles of it stocked up in my wine chest right now)

Blue Nun, Qualitatswein Rheinhessen

Both should be around $10/bottle...

My fave reds are LaCrema pinot noir which usually runs about $17-18/btl, but another more affordable pinot noir is Mirassou and that is usually in the $8-10 range.

As for whites, Toasted Head chardonnay is usually one of my go-tos as well as Sokol Blosser Evolution riesling. Both of those are $12-14/btl.

Cheers! :)

Oh man, I just got this amazing Shiraz from Trader Joe's a couple weeks ago, but I can't remember what it's called {sorry!}. I usually go for the cheap wines and don't really know much about the stuff {I'm such a horrible northern californian!}, but I've found some yummy stuff at TJ's.

I'm not so much of a wino, but my parents are. They love Frontera's Cabernet Savignon. It's pretty cheap, I think it's like $7 for the big bottle @ Costco. People always bring expensive bottles to their house, but they still pop the Frontera.

I heart me some Pinot Grigio's. And I only know them by labels. Not names. i kinda suck, I know.

First of all, hilarious. And second, I don't have any good advice for you because all I drink is "the pink stuff"--Beringer's white zin--but I am stealing the advice you're getting to broaden my own horizons :)

Luna de Luna is a good brand because they have a lot of interesting blends. For instance, they have a cabernet and merlot blend - I don't typically like red wine, but their blends seem to be just right. (And I think under $10 a bottle). They have white wine blends too!

That picture of Amy scared me! ahhh! I wonder where she went off to? Anyways-I think World Market has good wines. http://www.worldmarket.com
I don't drink much right now obviously, but I like sangria if I drink wine.

I'm glad someone recommended Yellow Tail! They're AWESOME, and my favorite of theirs is the Shiraz (a red) which is warm and sweet. Otherwise, I'm generally a white wine girl, and Gallo White Zin is my favorite.

For everyday, stocking the rack type of bottles... Do you have a Trader Joe's near you??? Charles Shaw, especially the chardonnay. It's $3 a bottle -- can't be that!

Other than that, I to stick to the $8-12 price range, except for special occasions when I might jump up to $20. No particular favs, like to try different things, especially Australian and South American wines. Yum!

We always try different ones at our store, they have a huge selection. One red we always go back to though because it's SUPER cheap and really good is Yellow Tails Cabernet Shiraz, with the purple label.

I know that I'm super late on this, but I love the Capcanes Mas Donis. It is a fabulous wine & we're able to find it for about $12 - $15 a bottle.
