D.I.Y......in progress

Remember this post... where I stated that I LOVE this but want to try to make it before I shell out cash for it?Well I tried and I think it was a good first attempt. What do you think?

It was a surprisingly difficult project... not the execution but finding the materials. I ended up having to order the stamps from Amazon because no craft store has letter stamps this large. Then I had to find ink that could fit a stamp this large..... again a hard task. My craft stores only had black so that's what I used here. I just ordered a rainbow of colors so my next attempt will be more beautiful!

Next up - a more colorful 'Thankful" banner for Thanksgiving & a 'Believe' banner for Christmas. Stay tuned!

Great job! If you have any teacher supply stores near you, you might try those for large stamp pads as well.

If you can't find the larger ink pads in different colors, you could try painting acrylic paint on the stamp & then stamp it. I remember doing that when I was younger. It looks great, btw!!
