my addiction needs storage

Yeah.... so... I love scarves. I have scaves in every color, shape, and size. I wear them every day in the fall and winter. The problem: they're taking over my downstairs closet and are becoming a MONSTER.
Exhibit A:

Anyone know an organized way to store these puppies? Needs to be easily accessible since I wear them daily and typically pull one at the last minute as I'm running to the door. Help a sister out and consider it your good deed for the day. :)

Why don't you get a tie/belt hang for the closet and drap them on that?? =)

I am also addicted to scarves. I hang mine over a hanger in my closet, 2 actually. I can easily pull them off daily and they are right there.

Holy scarves batman! I now own one (thanks to winning a giveaway...) so I don't have this storage dilemna... but what about a fun chest with lots of little drawers... so each drawer could have one or two nicely folded scarves in it? I know around here, hobby lobby is great for pieces like that and they're never expensive. That's all I've got. My creative juices are just not working...

I use a belt organizer you put in your closet bc you can just put one in each hook!

I was going to suggest the tie hook too. I think they have ones that fold down so it doesn't take up as much room.

I am so with you on this... mine are all hung over a hanger in my closet, and it is driving me nuts! Let us know if you come up with something creative!

I have all my on a wall hanging coat rack being the door. Still gets messy, but it's the best I've come up with so far. Any better ideas come along, let me know!

I second the tie hanger. It works perfectly!

I don't have many, but I have mine on an over-the-door coat rack.

I tie mine over the (euhm, this is where my English skills fail) thing where you normally put all your hangers.. As in, you fold the scarf in two, hold it behind the "thing", and then tie it around.
