carrying the world on her shoulders

How badass is this tattoo? I like how simple it is and perfectly proportioned to her back.

I thought about getting a tattoo in college... unfortunately my parents threatened to stop paying my tuition if I did so that pretty much sealed the deal. By the time I got out of college, I was over the urge. If I had gotten one - it would have been the below Firedancer on the nape of my neck.
Do you have a tattoo? Do you still love it? Or has it become the tattoo that shall not be named (ahem... Kristen...) :)

Oh wow, that tattoo of the world is beautiful. Simple yet elegant (if tattoos can be both).

I have 3 tattoos, that I still love. The first one I got was when I was 18 and though parts of me feel I got it to rebel against my parents (just a little), I don't think I would take it back. I love it and reminds me of my young and crazy days in college. Sigh

To your dismay, I have become a bit of a tattoo junkie. All of mine are small... I wish I had the guts to do something like that map. That is AMAZING! Once my friends Joe and Jen are back in Milwaukee (can't wait... they come home in a few weeks!), we're going to get some ink together!! That will take my tattoo total up to six!

Ah! You called me out!

I love it!

Stay tuned. I'll post pics soon, but you have to promise to still love me anyway.

This is so beautiful. I want a tattoo for my birthday! But I need to decide what I want and then have the courage to go to tattoo shop and actually find out how much it will cost me!
Love your blog!

I went through a tatoo phase (wanting one that is, never did get one). I wanted to get a henna pattern on my ankle at one point (which still sounds cool to me) and then I liked the trite ladybug for good luck on my shoulder for a while too. Oh well, probably not for me anyhow!
