camera intimidation

I've owned this beauty for two months now. I have the film, have read the instruction book (twice), and should be ready to shoot.
And yet... I've never used her. My sweet Diana. Call it a wee bit of intimidation I suppose. I get like this. When I really want something to turn out... or really want to try something... I put it off because I'm scared of screwing it up. And often I don't screw it up and kick myself for not doing it sooner.
This week is my week. I will use my beloved Diana, take a solid roll of film, and hope beyond hope at least one shot turns out. Stay tuned....

I was the same way about my Pretty in Pink Holga. I would take it out of the packaging, stare at it, explore the lines and curves and then carefully pack it up and put it away. My husband asked if we should exchange it for something else.
I finally took the plunge and the results were beautiful! Take the plunge, your photos will be amazing!
