have you said it today?

'It' is different for everyone. It may be I love you, I can't live without you. Or I'm sorry. 'It' may be telling that person you were wrong and they were right. Or finally standing up for yourself when you know you should have before.

Whatever 'it' is - I urge you to say it.

I've been thinking about this for a few days now. It's cliche but life is so short and too often we get wrapped in the daily grind that, in the scheme of things, doesn't define who we are. What does define us is how we treat others, our empathy, kindness, and so many other things that are so easy to put off.

Recently I haven' t been able to get a few people off my mind.... one who is watching his mother fight for her life with cancer. Another who is fearful she'll lose the job that has defined her for so long. These are my friends. I so wish I could take away their pain.
One thing I know about myself is that I don't want to wish I had said something and never have that opportunity again. So each day, I'm making sure that I say 'it' - whatever 'it' may be on that day.

Have you said 'it' today?

I really love what you have been thinking about! I think we often get too wrapped up in life and forget to remind the people in our lives how much we love and care for them. Life is about relationships more than anything else!

Darling post!
I always try to say "it".
Telling my best friends I hardly ever see that I miss them and love them dearly ;)
I hope your friends will be ok.
